The Attix5 backup Professional Desktop and Laptop Edition (D&L)

Desktop and Laptop is a Java user application that is used to backup the data generated and stored on user workstations, desktops and laptop computers.

D&L supports Windows 98/2000/XP/NT.

D&L can be pre-configured prior to deployment to enforce backup policy with optional lock down settings to prevent user involvement in the backup process.

D&L also includes support for low bandwidth, occasional and dialup environments with automated network sensing and embedded bandwidth and transfer management.

Dynamic Profiling enables the backup administrator to remotely modify the backup schedule, filters to automatically select certain file types, and exclude certain file types from being selected.

D&L also supports Microsoft Outlook PST file backup.
