SECURITY
Backup Professional makes use of the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol standard for secure data transmission (1024 bit RSA key exchange, 128 bit RC5 stream cipher and SHA-1 integrity checking). Data is stored using 448-bit Blowfish encryption in CBC mode.

SCALABILITY
The mark of a true service offering is the ability to start small with minimal capital investment and scale seamlessly on demand without the need to replace systems or re-define the service architecture. The modular design of Backup Professional allows transparent scaling from a single device offering data protection for a small group of users to a global network providing continuous online backup for thousands of devices across multiple continents.

CENTRALISED MANAGEMENT
Attix5 Backup Professional can be configured, deployed, monitored and managed from a single workstation equipped with the Attix5 Backup Console, regardless of the size of the deployed device and user base. A single administrator can enforce and monitor company policy across all devices in the system including the ability to remotely query and command installed server backup agents. Centralised management means efficient use of available resources and a consistent application and adherence to agreed company backup policy.

EASE OF USE
Finger trouble within the corporate user base is a notoriously common cause of enterprise system failures. Attix5 Backup Professional undergoes regular usability testing to maximise ease of use and eliminate user frustration. A familiar interface together with intuitive functional design and dynamic user- help files ensure that users can easily understand the service thereby minimising calls to the help desk. If desired, selected functionality such as the ability to change file selection or backup schedules or indeed the entire user interface, can be locked down by the administrator. Backups occur transparently to the user, thus eliminating the chances of user error.

	Complete list of daily and month-end archives - Files can be restored from previous versions daily for up to 60 days and month-ends between 1 and 5 years.
	Automated backup - This is "set and forget" software. Once file selections are made, the program will backup automatically without intrusion.
	On-demand - manual backups at any time connected to the Internet.
	WebAccess- Secure Internet access to all backup sets through any Internet connected browser from anywhere in the word and at any time you desire.
	Resume on backup and restore - In instances of lost network connections backups and restores will resume from the point of disconnection.
	Backup size limits - Each backup can be limited to a maximum amount of data.
